Allow us to introduce you to an Erasmus+ project.
European Green School Council wants to be a Consortium of schools/institutions with concrete results in the implementation of school/educational projects in the field of green buildings. We believe that this alliance only benefits its members, because it will provide the opportunity for an effective exchange of experience, each institution will have the opportunity to share its own experience, but also the chance to learn from others, to accumulate those experiences of good practice and to pass them on.
Our project runs over a period of 2 years, with the following priorities: environmental protection and the fight against climate change, development of key competences, common values, civic engagement and participation;
This project is intended to be a plea for green buildings: what are green buildings, what must we do to transform our school into a green building, what behavior should we adopt, how can we promote the concept of a green building, how can we encourage a positive, protective attitude towards the environment in which we live.
Our project is structured in 3 work packages; thus, the students will go through three defining stages for their formation as active members of a green school: Learn-Apply-Promote!!
In this project we will create some stories about what green buildings mean; based on them we will create some animations and prepare a theater play for children in each field of green buildings; at the end we will go to other schools and in the local community and present our plays, promote green schools, try to convince them to join us;
